Electrical Engineering

Electrical engineering is concerned with the basic forms of energy that run our world. Whether it's gas, hydro, turbine, fuel cell, solar, geothermal, or wind energy, electrical engineers deal with distributing these energies from their sources to our homes, factories, offices, hospitals, and schools. Electrical engineering also involves the exciting field of electronics and information technology.

  • 1. Design and develop more efficient electrical machinery
  • 2. Control Equipment for electricity generation
  • 3. Guide and organize manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation and testing to assure conformation with specifications, codes and customer requisites.
  • 4. Transmission and distribution of electrical energy

The main objective of Electrical department is to impart knowledge to the students about the latest developments in Electrical Engineering and prepare them to face latest challenges.

Engineering is the practice of safe and economic application of the scientific laws governing the forces and materials of nature by means of organization, design and construction, for the general benefit of mankind during your time with us. Our Motto is to Mentor & Coach - not only to TEACH

To impart knowledge to the students about the latest developments in Electrical Engg. To motivate students to make remarkable progress in terms of developing infrastructure, techniques and facilities. To ensure that together with the course content, teaching methodology and the stature of the faculty members, guarantees that students are versatile enough to occupy various types of responsible positions in their respected fields. To develop leadership skills in our graduates necessary to shape the social, intellectual, business and technical worlds.

The need of increasingly faster and more sophisticated methods of handling information poses a major challenge to the present electrical engineer.new materials, devices, circuits, systems, and networks are needed to build the advanced communications and information handling systems of the future.

Electrical Engineer Founded Infosys in 1981 in Pune with an initial capital of US $250, most of which was borrowed from his wife. He articulated, designed and implemented the Global Delivery Model which has become the foundation for the huge success in IT services outsourcing from India. TIME Magazine listed him under "Global Tech Influentials" as one of the 10 leaders who are helping shape the future of technology and as one of the Asians who have brought about revolutionary changes in Asia in the last 60 years.

Every year , 15 September is celebrated as Engineer’s Day in India in his memory. He is held in high regard pre- eminent engineer of India. He was the chief designer of the flood protection system of the city of Hyderabad, as well as the chief engineer responsible for the construction of the Krishna Raja Sagara dam in Mysore. He is also revered a lot in the state of Karnataka.
