Mokshagundam Vishveshwariah Sir MV; 15 september1860- 14 April 1962 was a notable Indian engineer, scholar, statesman and the Diwan of Mysore during 1912 to 1918. He was a recipient of the Indian Republic’s highest honour, the Bharat Ratna, in 1955. He was knighted as a commander of the British Indian Empire by king George V for his myriad contributions to the public good.

Every year, 15 September is celebrated as Engineer’s Day in India in his memory. He is held in high regard pre- eminent engineer of India. He was the chief designer of the flood protection system of the city of Hyderabad, as well as the chief engineer responsible for the construction of the Krishna Raja Sagara dam in Mysore. Basic Computing Lab

This Lab is designed to provide a comprehensive study of the C programming language. It stresses the strengths of C, which provide students with the means of writing efficient, maintainable, and portable code. The nature of C language is emphasized in the wide variety of examples and applications. Some of applications are as follow- creating computer applications, writing embedded software, developing verification software, test code, simulators, implement different Operating System Operations.

Computer Graphics Lab

This lab is designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to computer graphics leading to the ability to understand contemporary terminology, progress, issues, and trends. This lab give introduction to computer graphics techniques, focusing on 3D modeling, image synthesis, and rendering, Shading and mapping, ray tracing, global illumination, photon mapping, and anti-aliasing. The interdisciplinary nature of computer graphics is emphasized in the wide variety of examples and applications.

DAA Lab

This Lab is designed to study paradigms and approaches like divide-and-conquer, greedy, and dynamic algorithms etc used to analyze and design algorithms .It also ensures that students understand how the worst-case time complexity of an algorithm is defined, how asymptotic notation is used to provide a rough classification of algorithms. It is used to give difference between the lower and upper bounds of various problems and their importance in deciding the optimality of an algorithm.

Java Lab

This lab aims to introduce students about the Java programming language. The students should be able to create Java programs that leverage the object-oriented features of the java language, such as encapsulation, inheritance and polymorphism; use data types, arrays and other data collections; implement error-handling techniques using exception handling, create event-driven GUI using Swing components; and implement I/O functionality to read from and write to text files.

Project/Software Development Lab

This Lab is designed to study basic need of project management, role of project scheduling, risk management, quality planning, project execution, monitoring, control and closure for software projects. Students develop their projects based on current engineering applications for live industrial exposure and fill the gap between industry and academic.
